EGX loses L.E2.3 b mid-Trading

The EGX has lost L.E2.339 billion during Tuesday’s mid- trading.  As a result, the market capital of the listed stocks has reached L.E366.408 billion over Arab and foreigner investors’ selling activity.

EGX30 has witnessed a slide of %1.28 to reach 5.034p, while EGX20 has witnessed a rise of %0.79 to reach 5.851p. In addition, EGX70 has witnessed an increase of %0.10 to reach 480.34p; the EGX100 has witnessed a gain of %0.29to close at 803p.

The market has recorded an amount of trading valued at L.E389.888 million through a volume of trading amounted to 146 million shares for the 20.196 thousand transactions.

This was after trading in 162 listed securities; the price of 41 rose and of 107 downed while the price of the rest (14 securities) remained fixed.

Egyptians were responsible for purchasing activity for L.E57.464 million, while foreigner and Arab investors made up L.E54.611 million and L.E2.852 million respectively of the selling activity.
