EGX Ends Week by L.E 1.43 Bln Losses

On Thursday’s closing session, the EGX incurred losses of L.E 1.43 billion as the capital market amounted to L.E 372.492 billion. The main index, EGX 30 hiked again 0.22% to close at 5145.32 p. EGX20 downed 0.25% to close at 5990.24 p.

Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 decreased 1.19% to close at 477.75 p. Price index EGX100 dipped 0.65% to close at 821.46 p.

Trades came to 21.582 transactions; worth L.E 329.496 million and volume amounted to 95.172 million securities.

This was after trading in 180 listed securities; 135 down and 29 up while 16 keeping their previous levels.
