EGX Rebounds, Gains EGP 1.3 Bln; Closing

On Thursday’s closing session, the EGX posted gains of EGP 1.35 billion as the capital market amounted to EGP 350.292 billion.

The main index, EGX30 inched up 0.46% to close at 4929.24 p. EGX20 climbed 0.65% to close at 5739.08 p.

Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 went up  0.38% to close at 423.62 p. Price index EGX100 rose 0.43% to close at 772.16 p.

Traded volume reached million 91.415 million securities worth EGP 318.119 million, exchanged through 17.712 thousand transactions.

This was after trading in 175 listed securities; 45 declined and 104 advanced while 26 keeping their previous levels.

Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers seizing 63.03% and 12.54% respectively, of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 39.537 million and EGP 23.407 million, excluding the deals.

On the other hand, non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers seizing with a net equity of EGP 62.944 million excluding the deals.
