Egypt aims to boost its exports to Africa through fairs, exhibitions

Egypt aims to boost its exports with a special focus on the African continent, one of Egypt’s major trade partners, through establishing fairs and exhibitions, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevine Gamea, said.

The state is  looking to increase the value of its commodity exports to $100 billion annually, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevine Gamea added

For his part, the Chairman of the Export Council for Chemical Industries and Fertilizers, Khaled Abul Makarem, revealed that Kenya, Ethiopia, and Nigeria acquire two thirds of Egypt’s total exports to Africa.

The Egyptian export councils calls on the importance of establishing permanent logistical centers in African capitals and cities, while enhancing the logistical transport system between Egypt and Africa.
