Egypt Cabinet to sign MoU with US AERTC for oil shale project

Egypt’s Cabinet approved Wednesday to sign a memorandum of understanding with U.S. AERTC Company to conduct  initial studies on an oil shale project to produce fuel and generate electricity in the country.

This comes after the Egyptian government held a meeting with the state-run Egyptian Electricity Holding Company and Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Company.
