Egypt, China trade exchange hits $16bln in 2022

Egypt and China trade exchange rose to hit around $16 billion in 2022, said Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir on Sunday.

According to the minister, the Egyptian government is seeking to balance the trade between both countries by increasing Egyptian exports to China.

The two governments is also aiming to promote Egyptian products in the Chinese market.

The statements made during a ceremony held to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China.
