Egypt Closes Gaza Border Crossing After Being Opened for One Hour

Following a one-hour opening for the Rafah border crossing with Gaza Strip, Egyptian authorities have decided closure for security reasons amid the ongoing unrest.

The General Authority for Ports and Dry Land chairman Gamal Hegazy stated that Egypt has opened Rafah border crossing with Gaza Strip for one hour on Saturday morning from 10:00 till 11:00 a.m. and has resumed closing the border due to security crackdown reasons.
