Egypt completes 1st offshore project for Côte d’Ivoire

The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum announced the completion of the Aptara Modular Compact Manifold, a modern wellhead complex, at Petrojet’s Maadeya Yard in Alexandria.
This structure, which has been exported to the Baleine field project in Côte d’Ivoire, represents Egypt’s first involvement in such a project. The achievement aligns with the ministry’s strategy to enhance collaboration with global companies and marks a significant milestone in deepwater installations.

The Aptara Modular Compact Manifold, a sophisticated underwater structure, is part of a family of lightweight, smart marine equipment designed to reduce overall costs throughout the field’s lifespan. Engineered with advanced technology and a lightweight design, this wellhead complex significantly lowers offshore installation expenses.

The project represents a collaboration between Petrojet and Baker Hughes, with the installations manufactured at Petrojet’s marine yard in Maadeya, Alexandria, for export under the Made in Egypt label.

Petrojet successfully manufactured and delivered the final components for Phase Two of the Baleine field project in Côte d’Ivoire to Baker Hughes and Eni, including the inaugural Aptara Modular Compact Manifold. The entire process was completed in just 11 months, setting a record for this type of installation. The final loading for dispatch to the Baleine Phase Two project has already been completed.
