Egypt’s Ministry of Transport is establishing seven international integrated logistics centres to link production areas with dry ports and integrated logistics zones via high-speed and secure transport routes.
Kamel Al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Trasport, announced that the ministry was planing to establish 31 dry ports and logistics zones across the country.
These facilities aim to prevent congestion at seaports, enhance logistics services, lower transport costs, facilitate trade, connect production and consumption sites, and minimise environmental impact.
