Egypt expands rail network with 7 new lines – Cabinet

Egypt is building seven new railway lines to connect dry ports and logistics areas to seaports, according to the Cabinet statement on Wednesday.

The seven railway lines also aim to connect major residential to the industrial areas, said Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Trasport, Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir.
