Egypt expects Suez Canal revenues to reach $10.3bln by 2023

Egypt Suez Canal’s total revenues expected to record $10.3 billion by the end of this year, up from increased $9.4 billion in 2022, according to a statement published by the presidential spokesperson on Monday.

In line with the development plan of the Suez Canal’s shipping stream and its facilities, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi directed the entities to continue intensive effort to implement Suez Canal Authority projects.

These remarks came during a meeting held between al-Sisi and Osama Rabie, chairman of Suez Canal Authority, while the meeting aimed to review the authority’s efforts in modernizing its maritime fleet.
