Egyptian exports to Nile basin countries have reached in January US$69.650 million, Egypt’s state statistics agency reported Saturday.
Imports from the Nile basin stood at US$22.903 million.
The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) added in its latest report that the trade balance between Egypt and Nile Basin countries had reached US$92.553 million last January.
Highest importer from Egypt was Sudan with the value of Egyptian exports to Sudan reaching US$36.770 million. The report pointed out that Egypt had not imported any products from Rwanda and Burundi during January 2015.
The value of Egyptian imports from Uganda had not exceeded US$15.000 million.
