Egypt sees $9mn oil, gas investments till FY2024-end: minister
Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum raised its forecast for investments in the oil and gas sector from $8 billion to $9 billion until the end of the current financial year, Minister Tarek El Molla told Asharq Bloomberg on Saturday.
El Molla made his remarks on the sidelines of the opening of the first automotive service and supply stations for ADNOC in Egypt, adding that the targeted investments hiked up from previous projections ranging between $7.7 billion and $8 billion.
He also said that the entry of an important partner such as ADNOC and TotalEnergies would enhances quality levels in the field of fuel distribution and automobile supply and increases competitiveness in the market.
