Egypt grants 9 golden licences to strategic investment projects

Egypt’s Minister of Investment and International Trade, Hassan Khattab awarded nine golden licences to key strategic investment projects, promoting economic growth and attracting domestic and foreign investments.

Key Projects

  • Arab Otsuka Pharmaceuticals: $40 million health supplements factory in 10th of Ramadan City, creating 100 jobs.
  • Suez Warehousing Co: strategic warehouse in Suez Governorate, costing 1.988 billion Egyptian pounds, providing 75 jobs.
  • Suez Wind Energy: 1.374 billion Egyptian pounds wind power plant, generating 550 MW in two phases.
  • Egyptian Salt and Minerals Co: 604 million Egyptian pounds potash fertiliser plant in Fayoum Governorate, creating 100 jobs.
  • Nets Land Agricultural Investment: 1.392 billion Egyptian pounds agricultural processing facility in 10th of Ramadan City, employing 4,000.
  • MAFAI for Agricultural Industries: A $180 million agricultural processing plant in Sadat City, Menoufia Governorate, creating 720 jobs.
  • Balkan Food Industries: An 850 million pound tomato paste and vegetable factory in 6th of October City.
  • FutureFert for Fertilizer & Chemical Industries: A $40 million fertiliser and chemicals plant in Ain Sokhna.
  • Obelisk Solar Energy: A $600 million solar power plant in Qena Governorate, generating 1,000 MW.

These projects reflect Egypt’s commitment to fostering investment, economic growth and job creation.
