Egypt, Hungary mull boosting railway industry localisation
Egypt and Hungary discussed boosting localisation of railway industry in Egypt, said Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation on Thursday.
This came during a meeting between Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó.
They also discussed ways to enhance private investments in Egypt and to activate the memoranda of understanding (MoU) signed at the Egyptian-Hungarian joint committee earlier this year.
The meeting was on the sidelines of Al-Mashat’s visit to Hong Kong to attend the Belt and Road Summit 2023, according to the statement.
