Egypt launches environmental, climate investment platform

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly launched on Tuesday Egypt’s Environmental and Climate Investment platform, to review the country’s investment system and business opportunities in the green economy and climate resilience, an official statement said.

The platform is an interactive online portal available in English and Arabic, it is for entrepreneurs, developers, financiers, investors and supporting institutions, the statement mentioned.

The platform is also a direct channel of communication with the Ministry of Environment and the Climate Environment Investment Unit (CLEIU), which enables investors to receive services for the development of climate and environmental investments.

Madbouly has inaugurated this morning the first edition of the Environmental and Climate Investment Forum in Egypt, held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, in the New Administrative Capital (NAC).
