Egypt offers 10,000 tons Russian wheat for sale to private sector mills – ministry

Egypt’s state grains buyer GASC has offered on Wednesday an estimated total of 10,000 tons of imported Russian wheat for sale to private sector mills, according to the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade’s statement.

The statement clarified the price is 9,750 Egyptian pounds per ton through the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) platform for commodities, as there are 17 transactions have been implemented.

EGX has registered about 31 purchase order about with a total quantity of 21116.72 tons, which representing double the quantity offered by the Supply Commodities Authority as a seller with an average price of 9766.67 pounds.

In the same context, the Egyptian Commodity Exchange will hold its third session next Sunday, at two o’clock in the afternoon, the statement added.
