Egypt participates in Heimtextil with 26 companies

The Egyptian Export Development Authority (EDA), in cooperation with the Textile Export Council, is organising the Egyptian participation in the Heimtextil exhibition, which is held in Frankfurt, Germany,  between 8 and 11 January.

Sherine El Shorbagi, CEO of the EDA, said that the authority has organised the Egyptian pavilion with the participation of 26 Egyptian companies on an area of ​​770 sqm.

El Shorbagi noted that Heimtextil is one of the largest international exhibitions of textiles and furnishings, whereas the number of visitors to the exhibition reach 70,000.

She added, “The Heimtextil exhibition includes a wide range of retailers and wholesalers, designers, and furniture owners with premium brands, as well as decision makers from significant hotels to see the latest trends, colours, and designs.

Moreover, El Shorbagi pointed out that the Egyptian participation in the exhibition contributes toward providing technical assistance to Egyptian exporters in order to identify the general trend of consumer tastes, learn about the latest designs and innovations in the field of furniture and textiles, in addition to the latest trends in this sector.
