Egypt Post to Mechanize All Its Departments Relaying on SAP by FY2014/2015

Egypt Post is aiming completing mechanization of its entire departments depending on Systems Applications Products audit (SAP systems) by the early next fiscal year 2014/2015.

Finance has been applied in all accounting units numbering 42, the inputs of users have been monitored on a weekly basis, noting that the programs applied on stores and purchases with total numbers up 15 regions till now, targeting the actual operation of all target areas (44 stores) in the first half of 2014, Dr. Ashraf Gamal El-Din asserted.

SAP is the acronym for Systems, Applications, Products. It is a system that provides users with a soft real-time business application. It contains a user interface and is considered extremely flexible. In an SAP audit the two main areas of concern are security and data integrity. SAP brought out a server based version of their software.

SAP was a modular system (meaning that the various functions provided by it could be purchased piecemeal) it was an extremely versatile system. A company could simply purchase modules that they wanted and customize the processes to match the company’s business model. SAP’s flexibility, while one of its greatest strengths is also one of its greatest weaknesses that lead to the SAP audit.
