Egypt records 175 new coronavirus cases, 17 deaths on Wednesday

Egypt recorded 175 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, bringing the total infection tally to 100,403 since the outbreak began in February.

The health ministry also reported 17 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 5,577.

The statement said patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 80,689.
