Egypt-Russia trade rises 31.5% in five months

The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Russia rose 31.5 percent to $2.775 billion in the first five months of the year, said Trade Representation Office of the Russian Federation in Egypt on Saturday.

Russia’s exports to Egypt increased 32.3 percent to $2.4 billion between the January-May 2018 period, compared with the same period last year, trade representation office indicated in a statement.

Egyptian exports to Russia jumped by 26.5 percent, recording $356 million.
