Egypt is planning to develop New Borg El Arab City, 48km (29.8 miles) south-west of Alexandria, at a cost of 2.5 billion Egyptian pounds ($139.2 million), an official said on Monday.
This comes as part of the country’s plan to attract more investments and achieve sustainable development for the city, head of New Borg El Arab City Authority Essam Badawy further added.
“The plan focuses on developing and raising the efficiency of roads in New Borg El Arab, at a cost worth one billion pounds,” Badawy said.
