Many Saudi companies working in the Egyptian market target expanding into their industrial and agricultural investments according to the Saudi Egyptian Businessmen Association (SEBA) Secretary General Ahmed Sabry Darwish.
Savola, Almarai, Jannat and others plan new expansions into their existing industrial and agricultural projects in Egypt through pumping investments reaching up to EGP 5 billion (US$689.6 million) in the upcoming period, Darwish noted.
Furthermore, Darwish also said those expansions would be in addition to the hospital project that will be announced during the SEBA’s upcoming annual ceremony on January 31st. The investment volume of the planned hospital project is estimated at EGP 600 million.
This hospital will contain 100 rooms in 6th of October City and it is considered to be the first medical centre for physical therapy, rehabilitation and general health. A number of major global medical centres will take part in this hospital project.
In addition, a major Egyptian university will contribute as an educational partner for the hospital project. Capital Group will also participate in this project.
