Egypt sees $6 billion renewable energy FDIs in two years: official

Egypt’s new and renewable energy projects are expected to attract foreign direct investments worth US$ 6 billion over the coming two years, said investment minister’s advisor.

In a keynote speech at MEED Egypt Mega Projects Conference held Tuesday in Cairo, Sherif Oteifa further said the Egyptian Ministry of Investment is working on supporting the country’s investment climate through introducing new laws and regulations to get over any hurdles facing investors.
