Egypt sends medical aid to Palestine

Egypt’s Red Crescent announced on Sunday that it has sent medical aid to Palestine to help back the population up in the face of the current attack on the Gaza Strip.

The branch for Egypt’s Red Crescent in North Sinai provided vital emergency medical assistance to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society immediately.

All of Khaled Zayed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the North Sinai branch, Mahmoud Farid Qweider, Executive Director of the Society, and Omar Ali, Administrative Director, participated in committed support to Palestinians in Gaza.

The Egyptian Red Crescent Society has been working with its Palestinian counterpart to monitor and address the ongoing war crisis in the Gaza Strip.

The first batch of aid passed through the Rafah land crossing to Gaza, and more aid packages are set to follow, according to the statement.
