Egypt aims to attract $25.2 billion net foreign direct investments (FDI) by the end of the fiscal year 2021/22, Amwal Al Ghad’s Arabic website reported, citing Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation as saying in a report issued on Sunday.
The Egyptian Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation has published a report on Sunday, tackling the government’s proposed plans for economic and social development for the fiscal year 2022.
The Strategic Framework for Economic and Social Development plan suggested for the fiscal year 2021/22 includes directing FDIs towards new projects besides undergoing merger, acquisition and privitisation activities.
