Egypt will deliver ten new buildings in Obour City as part of the first phase of the county’s state middle-income residential flagship Dar Misr on 25 February 2018, Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouly said Sunday.
Obour City is located in Qalyubia Governorate, around 35km northeast of Cairo (21.7 miles). The city, which was designated as an industrial zone and houses of a number of factories, has approximately 250,000 citizens.
Ahmed Omran, Obour City Development Authority’s head, added that the country is currently executing four road projects in the city, at a cost of 115 million Egyptian pounds ($6.5 million).
“They (road projects) are to be completed next April,” Omran further stated.
