Egypt to host 1st Arab ministerial forum for housing, urban development

Egypt is to host the first Arab Ministerial Forum for Housing and Urban Development (AMFHUD) from December 20-22, 2015 to discuss housing and urban development issues in Egypt and Arab states.

The forum will be followed by the ministerial housing council.

AMFHUD was approved to be established in 2012 in the 29th council of Arab ministers for Housing and Construction. Its main theme is targeting the sustainable urbanization of the Arab states, according to UN-Habitat website, and is responsible for providing a technical platform for reporting on goals related to development.
