Egypt to provide skilled labour for Egypt-TEDA SEzone
Egypt’s Minister of Labour Mohamed Gobran visited the Egypt-TEDA SEZONE in Suez on Sunday, where he reviewed the zone’s future expansion plans and labour needs. This industrial zone, representing a significant example of Egyptian-Chinese economic cooperation, hosts 160 companies with a total investment of $3 billion.
The minister agreed to provide and train the required skilled labour to support these companies.
He emphasised the political leadership’s commitment to removing obstacles facing investors and boosting productivity in the zone.
The minister also noted the ongoing coordination with Chinese companies in the zone to ensure that young workers receive training in the various professions needed by these factories, whether through long-term or short-term programmes.
