Egypt-UAE Ties Will Be Restored to Historic Course — Ambassador

Egyptian Ambassador to the UAE Tamer Mansour said the UAE government and people have been backing the Egyptian people throughout their difficult and historic challenges.

He said in a statement on 6/7/2013 that the time-honored relations between the two countries were once more highlighted in the statement issued on Wednesday by Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nuhyyan that the UAE was following up with satisfaction the current developments in Egypt.

The Egyptian ambassador noted that Sheikh Abdullah underscored that the UAE was looking forward to strengthening its relations with the Egyptian government and people.

Mansour underlined that the UAE’s stance would mark a new phase to restore the historic relations between the two countries, adding that some in Egypt during the dark year tried to isolate Egypt from the Arab world and the region.
