Egypt Welcomes UAE’s Minister Al Jaber to Review ICT Ties

Egyptian Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Minister Atef Helmy welcomed Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber Minister of state in the United Arab Emirates and Chairman of the Coordinating Bureau of the UAE’s development projects in Egypt at his bureau in smart village.

During the meeting they discussed ways to boost cooperation between the two countries in many areas related to the telecommunications sector and information technology, and review of the plan to develop telecom services, within the framework of mutual coordination between the two sides to support their relations.

Helmy asserted that UAE has an important role in supporting the Egyptian economy and encouraging investments for national projects in conjunction with the Egyptian government’s efforts.
