EgyptAir operates 22 flights for pilgrims

EgyptAir, the state-run aviation company, operated 22 flights on Monday to transport Hajj pilgrims to their homeland.

Eight flights took off from Jeddah and 12 others took off from Medina, the remaining two flights took off from Jeddah, heading to Bamako, Mali.

The 22 flights are a part of the Egyptian-Saudi airbridge to bring the pilgrims back home.

The final hajj season flight is scheduled to take off on Thursday transporting pilgrims from Cairo, Port Said, Sharqia, Asyut, North Sinai, Dakahlia, and North Valley.
