EgyptAir’s Cairo to Addis Ababa route is one of the most profitable routes in Africa, said Civil Aviation Minister Hossam Kamal.
The Egyptian minister made such a statement in response to recent demands made by the Egyptian community in Chad, to end operations on Cairo-Addis Ababa route.
During his visit to N’Djamena on Friday, Egypt’s Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab received demands from the Egyptian community in Chad to cancel EgyptAir’s flight operations to Ethiopia.
Moreover, Kamal elaborated that the occupancy rate of EgyptAir’s flights between Cairo and Addis Ababa is high, resulting in achieving remarkable commercial revenues.
