The Egyptian Exchange closed higher on Monday with the main index, EGX 30, rising by 2.46 percent to 16,963.13. The index gained 408.01 points, recording a day high value of 16,970.35 and a day low value of 16,555.12.

EGX 70 soared by 4.33 points and gained 139.90 points to close at a value of 3,374.25. It recorded a day high value of 3,374.25 and a day low value of 3,216.26.

EGX 30 Capped climbed by 2.68 percent to 20,625.29 after it gained 537.77 points. The index recorded a day high value of 20,627.42 and a day low value of 20,087.52.
