Egyptian Exchange Briefing 14/03/2023

The Egyptian Exchange witnessed a slight decline in its main index, EGX 30, with a climb in the other indices after yesterday’s huge drop. The Main index dropped by -0.90 percent to close at 15362.25, when it opened at 15438.5. The index recorded a day high value of 15505.62, and a day low value of 15281.67.

EGX 70 EWI rose by 1.62 percent to close at 2794.07. The index opened at 2749.43, at morning trade, and recorded a day high value of 2794.07, and a day low value of 2726.50.

EGX 100 EWI inclined by 1.26 percent to 4127.28, when it opened at 4075.75. The index recorded a high value of 4128.60, and a day low value of 4041.58.

EGX 50 EWI climbed by 1.01 percent to 2665.11, and it had an opening value of 2638.37. The index recorded a day high value of 2667.14, and a day low value of 2614.57.

The Egyptian Exchange market cap lost around 1 billion Egyptian pounds today.
