Egyptian Exchange Briefing 20/03/2023

The Egyptian Exchange witnessed an incline in the majority of its indices on Monday, with the main index, EGX 30, closing at 14923.81. The index rose by 1.65 percent and recorded a day high value of 15165.16, and a day low value of 14662.13. It opened at 14681.12 at morning trade.

The EGX 70 EWI index climbed by 3.91 percent to 2689.48, when it opened at 2588.16. The index recorded a day high value of 2697.16 and a day low value of 2588.16.

EGX 50 EWI as well rose by a percentage of 2.66 percent to reach a value of 2579.76. The index opened at 2512.89, recording a day high value of 2598.60 and a day low value of 2510.49.

EGX 100 EWI inclined by 3.40 percent to 3975.21, when it opened at 3844.63. The index recorded a day high value of 3993.49 and a day low value of 3844.63.

The Egyptian Exchange market cap gained around 16 billion pounds today.
