Egyptian Exchange Briefing 22/03/2023

The Egyptian exchange dropped on Wednesday, with the main index, EGX 30, falling by -0.47 percent to 15253.22. The index opened at 15325.66 at morning trade, recording a day high value of 15488.01 and a day low value of 15154.04.

EGX 70 EWI dropped by -1.36 percent to 2733.94, when it opened at 2771.63. The index recorded a day high value of 2790.15 and a day low value of 2733.94.

EGX 100 EWI as well declined by -1.37 percent closing at 4040.24, after its opening value of 4096.24. It recorded a day high value of 4125.92 and a day low value of 4040.24.

EGX 50 EWI closed at 2608.28 after a -1.50 percent drop. It opened at 2647.97, recording a day high value of 2670.55 and a day low value of 2606.27.

The Egyptian Exchange market cap lost around 5 billion EGP today.
