URGENT: Egypt’s net FX reserves rise to $53.134 bln in May – CBE

Egypt’s net foreign exchange reserves rose to $53.134 billion at the end of May, up from $53.009 billion in April, central bank data showed on Sunday.

The increase of $125 million represents a 0.24 per cent month-on-month rise, reflecting continued external inflows despite a challenging global economic backdrop.
