Egyptian fund offers marketing support for SMEs

Egypt’s Social Fund for Development (SFD) announced it is offering full marketing support to uplift the small business sector (SMEs), the Egyptian Cabinet said in a statement on Wednesday.

Bassel Rahmy, head of the SFD, said that this could be achieved through assisting the small business owners in various local and international expeditions.

The statement was made during the SFD’s participation in the Baghdad International Fair in light of its plan to expand and collaborate with Arab nations.

Rahmy also added that the SFD was working on implementing the government’s directives to provide support needed for the SMEs and to offer them ways to export their products.
