Egyptian Officials Sniff Out Expired Fish In Time For Sham El-Nasim

Investigators in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate in the north of Egypt located a batch of salted fish that was beyond its expiration date, reported state-owned news agency MENA.

Salted fish is a seasonal delicacy, traditionally eaten on the Sham El-Nasim national holiday, celebrated this year on Monday.

Eleven reports were filed on Monday with prosecutors against shops that were selling the fish in the town of Dessouk.
