Egyptian PM Witnessing Signing ADSL Initiative Today

The Prime Minister Hazim Al- Beblawi has witnessed today signing launching an initiative of high speed internet ADSL cooperation which will be implemented in various administrative sectors including the education, health, youth, and scientific research and tourism fields and it will be applied in all governorates.

The Egyptian Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Minister Eng. Atef Helmy stated that this initiative will be implementing under the Cabinet’s auspices, it is a reflection of the development of many sectors, adding that the project would have a significant impact in the development of health, education, employment and youth centers services nationwide, as well as scientific research.

Helmy asserted that the internet in Egypt will has a great future as EGP350 million has been allocated for the draft, in addition joint protocol will be signed with five ministries in order to cover all the sectors.

Minister of Manpower and Immigration Kamal Abu Eita pointed out that the time had come to finish the books and procedures and to establish modern society, expressing his hope for the next generation.
