Egyptian Women’s Summit kicks off

The third edition of the Egyptian Women’s Summit has kicked off on Sunday under the auspices of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly.

Organised by Top 50 Women Forum, the Egyptian Women’s Summit 2024 is taking place on March 3-4 in collaboration with the Egyptian National Council for Women (NCW) and with the resourceful collaboration of the European Union.

This year’s summit intends to initiate consequential discussions on gender equality as well as ways to fight all forms of gender discrimination and ensure that funding and rehabilitation mechanisms are in place to promote women empowerment.

Under the theme “A 360° Guide toward a Prosperous Life”, the two-day event will bring together barrier-breaking women across industries and generations in addition to senior government officials, EU ambassadors, and representatives of the private sector, international organisations, and developmental initiatives.

The two-day event will feature the Eu-supported Great Women of Egypt Exhibition, and an employment fair. In addition, the panels at the Summit will include Global Changes and the Enabling Environment; Global Environment into Practice: Laws, Public Policies, Empowerment Programmes; European Insipiring Trajectories/Experiences; and A Vision toward Gender Equality at the Workplace.
