Egypt’s leading construction firm, Arab Contractors is set to deliver US$25 million worth of projects in Uganda by the end of 2016, its Chairman Mohsen Salah said on Wednesday.
The projects include work on government buildings, universities, and shopping malls as well as renovating old embassies.
AC is currently bidding on infrastructure projects in 10 African countries so as to expand its volume of business during the upcoming phase.
Arab Contractors began its operations in Uganda in 1997, and to date the firm has managed to carry out key strategies for both the Ugandan government and private sector, the Egyptian official added.
