Egypt’s Arab Pharmaceutical ADCO posts 444% surge in pre-tax profits

Egypt’s Arab Drug Company for Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries (ADCO) says profits before tax rose 444 percent to 29.4 million Egyptian pounds ($1.6 million) during the period from June 2016 to May 2017.

Earlier, profits stood at 5.4 million pounds during the period from June 2015 to May 2016.

Total sales jumped by 38 percent to reach 317.3 million pounds during 11 months ended in May 2017, financial statements announced Thursday.
