Egypt’s banks to close on 8 Oct. for Armed Forces Day – CBE

Banks in Egypt will be closed on Thursday, 8 October  2026, to mark Armed Forces Day, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said on Sunday.

Banking operations will resume on Sunday morning, 11 October 2026.
