Egypt’s Chamber of Information Technology and Communications (CIT) has achieved volume of contracts worth 10 million Egyptian pounds ($568,103) through Jusoor programme, said its chairperson Walid Gad.
During a press conference held on Sunday, Gad added that the Chamber managed to organise two successful marketing trips to Saudi Arabia and Morocco to promote products of 16 Egyptian tech firms.
The Egyptian official further added that CIT will focus in the coming period on penetrating non-traditional markets mostly in Africa and Europe.
Moreover, the chamber will concentrate on promoting call centre and outsourcing services especially after liberating exchange rates of Egyptian pound giving Egyptian companies an unprecedented opportunity to offer this kind of services with super affordable prices, Gad concluded.
