Egyptian Company for Integrated Contracting (ECIC) says it has been mandated to carry out six road projects worth one billion Egyptian pounds ($55.8 million) in Obour City, 35km (21.7 miles) northeast of Cairo.
The company is planning to deliver some of these projects within 2019, its vice-chairman Mohamed Abdel Raouf Hussein told Amwal Al Ghad on Sunday.
“We capture the lion’s share of road works in Obour City,” Raouf said.
ECIC is currently implementing a bunch of road projects in Port Said city, 170km (106 miles) northeast of Cairo, he said, adding that the works will be handed over within the next period.
