Egypt’s EFSA Receives 44 Complaints Against Brokerage Firms In October

Egypt’s financial regulator – the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority said it has received during October around 44 new complaints against securities firms. Accordingly, the total number of complaints received by the EFSA has upped to 121. The number of complaints under study was 77.

The EFSA said 32 complaints were studied that month, while 89 others are still study.

The complaints during October were about the blank sale and purchase orders through the intermediary obtaining finance from him in amounts exceeding the investor’s financial capability. EFSA noted that 8 complaints been handled which are equivalent to 25% of the total number of complaints reviewed.
