Egypt’s Elsewedy Electric subsidiary to develop $1b power station in S. Arabia

Egypt’s Elsewedy Electric announced that one of its engineering and construction subsidiaries will take part in the development of a power generating station in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, in partnership with Siemens Energy. The project, valued at over $1 billion, will involve constructing a 1,200 MW power station using a combined cycle system for the Saudi Electricity Company. The project is expected to be completed before the end of 2026.
