Egypt’s exports to U.S. rise 28.2% in nine months

Egypt’s exports to the United States increased 28.2 percent to $1.307 billion during the first nine months of this year from $1.020 billion last year.

U.S. was one of the five biggest countries importing from Egypt, seizing 6.1 percent of the Egyptian exports of $21.6 billion, said Egypt’s state-run statics agency CAPMSA in its recent bulletin on Monday.

Egypt’s key exports to the U.S. markets were fuel, and clothing exports, during the January-September 2018 period.
